Business Idea Development and Realization I

The course Business Idea Development and Realization I (RaRPN I, taught in Czech) is offered in both winter and summer semesters and is multi-university in nature. It is open to students of BUT, Masaryk University (MUNI) and Mendel University (MENDELU), which allows for unique cooperation and sharing of experiences across universities in the South Moravian Region. This inter-institutional cooperation gives students the opportunity to broaden their horizons, make new contacts and gain inspiration from different academic environments.

The subject Business Idea Development and Realization I (RaRPN I) aims to develop and support the entrepreneurship of BUT students, to promote the transfer of knowledge of good business practice, and thus to fulfil one of the strategic goals of BUT.
The course is implemented in cooperation between the Faculty of Business and Management BUT (BM) and the South Moravian Innovation Centre (JIC).
The guarantor of the course is doc. Ing. Vít Chlebovský, Ph.D.

The aim of the course is:
- Gain the knowledge and skills needed to validate the market potential of a business idea and prepare a business plan.
- Encourage creative thinking, planning skills and teamwork.
- To promote the ability to assess and process implementation risks.
- Encourage an innovative approach to problem solving.

Course detail

Registration takes place in the StudIS system on the 5th calendar day before the start of classes for the semester, i.e., on September 9, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.

The capacity of the course is limited to 60 students for space reasons.

The course is completed with 4 ECTS credits.

Each session lasts 3 hours, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
