The aim of the programme is to support the development of a society based on knowledge and skills, equal opportunities, which will lead to the growth of competitiveness of the Czech Republic and improvement of living conditions.
This multiannual programme, under the responsibility of the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports, has made it possible to draw financial resources from the European Structural and Investment Funds (ESIF) in the 2014–2020 programming period.
The thematic programme under the responsibility of the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports made it possible to draw financial resources from the European Social Fund (ESF), one of the structural funds of the European Union, in 2007–2013.
Operational programme Research and Development for Innovation (OP VaVPI) contributes to strengthening the growth of the state's competitiveness and orientation toward the knowledge-based economy.
