Profile

The graduates will acquire knowledge of the basic conventional and non-conventional technologies used in industrial and generally in all engineering applications. This way graduates will obtain all basic knowledge in the areas of the branch. The graduates will be able to work independently and to solve problems of production technology, technical and technological production preparation also with computer support in the frame of CAD/CAM/CIM methods. Thus the Bachelor’s degree graduates will be well equipped to find jobs in engineering practice as leaders or members of production teams of various specifications focused into branch of manufacturing technology. Graduates will be also well equipped to work in all branches of production technology like experts in modern industrial large/small-scale production and enterprise spheres of activity, as well as in non-productive areas such as services, business, guidance, and also in another large number of employment opportunities.

Occupational profiles of graduates with examples

A wide range of careers in engineering is available in the industry, business and education although the Engineering degree can lead to a career in almost any area. There continues to be a shortage of graduates in many fields and our students find that they greatly sought after these days. The reputation of the University is such that industry is keen to collaborate with us in teaching as well as research. Support has been frequently provided in the form of specialised equipment and, in some subjects, visiting staff contributes to course teaching to provide an up-to-date industrial dimension.

  • Production Engineering and Industrial Management -Master´s Degree (3 year full-time studying programme)
