Visitors had the opportunity to try test drives with electric vehicles from Škoda, Renault, Dacia, Hyundai, Kia, and Alfa Profi. In addition, there were company exhibits and dynamic demonstrations of technology by companies such as Škoda Auto, Garrett Motion, Valeo, Bosch, Vitesco Technologies, and Alfa Profi. A highlight was also the presentation of an electric vehicle prototype converted from a Škoda Favorit, created with the involvement of Richard Růžička from the Faculty of Information Technology at BUT.Author: Jakub Rozboud, Zbyněk Polák
The program also included tours of the faculty’s specialized laboratories, where visitors could see demonstrations of electric motors, battery systems, a photovoltaic polygon, charging technologies, anechoic chamber, and optics and wireless communication laboratories. Electromobility Day 2025 confirmed the growing public interest in electromobility and modern transportation technologies. The organizers from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Communication at BUT expressed their satisfaction with the event and are looking forward to the next edition.
