The thesis deals with digital modeling of the Fender Blues Junior tube guitar amplifier using a parallel Hammerstein model. First, the operating principle of the amplifier and basic nonlinear block models are described. For model identification, the amplifier responses are measured using the logarithmic sine sweep method, and level-dependent Hammerstein kernels are obtained from them using a toolbox in MATLAB. Based on these kernels, a model is implemented and tested both on measurement signals and on real guitar recordings.
