Course detail
FSI-ZB1Acad. year: 2026/2027
The course prepares students for professional and scientific work under the supervision of their advisor, leading to the development and successful defence of the bachelor’s thesis. Attention is given to the formal requirements for bachelor’s theses, the search for relevant scientific sources, their critical analysis, the identification of knowledge gaps in the field, and the subsequent definition of the thesis objectives, product requirements, creation of conceptual variants, and the formulation of research questions, hypotheses, and an appropriate experimental methodology. Emphasis is then placed on developing the thesis concept, which presents the main ideas of the work and helps the student fully understand the chosen methodological approach as well as the timeline required to successfully achieve the defined objectives.
