Professional and Academic English

The aim is to master the professional language which makes part of the architect's preparation for current professional situations. The teaching is focussed on structural engineering terminology, grammatical and lexical analysis of professional papers, and their translation into Czech. Titles of professional papers: Geologic surveying, Geology, Structural engineering, Brick structure, Concrete, Reinforced concrete, Steel, Wood, Building foundation, Bearing structures.
