Workshop on greenery maintenance brought practical tips and space for discussion

In mid-July, a workshop for grounds managers of faculties and other parts of BUT was held at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Communication. The practically-oriented course on proper green space care was organized for the first time by the Office of Sustainability. The entire meeting was led by a field expert, Ing. Vilém Jurek.

The discussion on lawn maintenance brought inspiration and experience sharing across different areas. It was an excellent opportunity to share practical experiences, openly discuss what has proven successful in regular care, as well as what might be worth reconsidering. Participants agreed that regular know-how exchange makes sense. The outcome of the event is a brief "Ten Principles of Proper Lawn Care," which is now available to all interested parties.
