Abstract:

The work is devoted to the topic of dynamic cone penetrometer use in road construction. The first part deals with the description of the measuring device of dynamic cone penetrometer and using it in controlling compaction of embankments of roads. Furthermore, comparing the correlation relationships with other commonly used tests. The practical part deals with comparing the results of CBR and DCP on the same materials and evaluation of both tests.
