This thesis compares open-source bioreactors Chi.Bio, Pioreactor, and eVOLVER and develops pH-focused augmentation on the first two platforms as infrastructure for exploring cultivation parameters relevant to non-model microorganisms. On Chi.Bio, an Atlas Scientific EZO pH module with adapted Python backend and web interface provided stable pH traces in Escherichia coli CCM 3954 cultivation. Building on this experience, Pioreactor was extended with custom pH and dissolved-oxygen plugins, an Atlas Scientific I4 InterLink, and a recirculating micro pH flow cell designed to avoid direct probe insertion into the culture volume; MLX90632-based temperature control further enhanced 36 h combined monitoring during batch cultivation. The work demonstrates practical open-source bioreactor sensor integration and establishes a foundation for further sensor expansion.

Student prezentoval výsledky své práce a komise byla seznámena s posudky. Doc. Doc. Lengerová fungovalo by Vaše řešení u bakterií citlivých na kyslík? Student obhájil diplomovou práci a odpověděl na otázky členů komise a oponenta.
