This bachelor thesis focuses on the current source module design, which is a part of a modular system for electrical impedance tomography (EIT). The goal of this work is to create a functional current source capable of feeding a 4800 Ω load with maximal amplitude of 10 mA harmonic current in the signal frequency range from tens of Hz up to 100 kHz. The thesis concentrates on selecting the most suitable circuit topology, practical implementation, and measurement of real-world characteristics. Simulations to verify the theory were conducted using PSpice, and KiCad was used for the practical PCB design.
