This bachelor thesis deals with the design and implementation of an experimental software musical instrument created in the Max/MSP and Max for Live environments. The instrument combines a sampler and two FM synthesizers connected in a cascade structure. The sampler is used not only as an independent sound source, but also as a modulation source for the first FM synthesizer. The second FM synthesizer follows the output of the first one. The instrument includes microtonal tuning based on equal division of the octave. The number of steps per octave can be set independently for the sampler, the first FM synthesizer, and the second FM synthesizer. The thesis describes the design of the sound structure, the implementation of the sampler and FM modules, the creation of the graphical user interface, the transfer of the instrument into Max for Live, and the technical problems encountered during development. The result is a functional prototype of an unusual electroacoustic musical instrument that combines sampling, frequency modulation, microtonal tuning, and MIDI control. The instrument is intended for experimental sound design, transition effects, glitch-like sounds, and layered textures. Some of its possibilities are demonstrated through audio examples included in the appendix.
