This bachelor's thesis deals with the assessment of the technical condition and capacity possibilities of a selected section of the storm sewer system in the area of the selected ZOO Ústí nad Labem. Based on a CCTV inspection and evaluation of the passport, a critical structural and technical condition of the pipeline was found, caused mainly by the age of the material, broken joints and root growth. Subsequent hydrotechnical calculation using the rational method proved that the existing network is satisfactory from a capacity point of view. Structural and technical measures were proposed, including trenchless rehabilitation of damaged sections using the CIPP method and relocation of part of the route caused by the planned construction of the Congo Forest Pavilion. A significant part of the proposal is devoted to the theoretical implementation of blue-green infrastructure for optimizing stormwater management. It includes the replacement of impermeable surfaces, the installation of green roofs, facades and permeable surfaces and the construction of an infiltration device. The proposed measures demonstrably reduce the volume of surface runoff, relieve the sewer network and contribute to supporting the natural character of the area.

V úvodu obhajoby student přednesl teze své bakalářské práce. Byly přečteny posudky vedoucího práce a oponenta. Student zodpověděl připomínky obsažené v posudcích. Následně proběhla diskuze k bakalářské práci, při níž členové komise položili následující dotazy: 1) Co myslíte pod pojmem tlakové rázy? 2) Jaká byla hladina podzemní vody? 3) Jaké opatření navrhujete, aby nedocházelo k prorůstání kořenů do kanalizace? 4) Na základě, čeho jste určil parametry vsaku? 5) Uvažoval jste o retenční nádrži? 6) Jak jste si poradil s DN200? Jaký je minimální profil potrubí dle normy? Student reagoval výborně.
