Abstract:

The topic of this bachelor's thesis is testing the properties of two selected 3D laser scanners. These are the FARO Focus 3D S120 and Trimble X7 scanners. These scanners were practically tested in the pillar classroom B150 in building B at the Faculty of Civil Engineering, BUT in Brno. This involved testing length measurements, testing angle measurements, testing length measurements in a point cloud, testing floor measurements and testing the detection of various types of targets in a point cloud. The results of testing both scanners were statistically evaluated and compared with each other and with the data provided by the manufacturer.

Student představil komisi formou prezentace svou bakalářskou práci a reagoval na připomínky a dotazy oponenta vyjádřené v oponentském posudku i na otázky členů komise. Oponent (Ing. Vystavěl) byl přítomen jednání komise. Během obhajoby položili členové komise následující otázky: Ing. Vystavěl se doptal na spolehlivost výsledků testování s ohledem na počet nadbytečných měření. Ing. Malec se zeptal na detekci středů referenčních koulí. Na každou z těchto otázek student reagoval uspokojivě.
