This thesis focuses on developing an automated detection and tracking system of obstacles in off-road environment using Convolutional Neural Networks. A primary contribution of this research is the creation of a specialized dataset. Data was collected across three geographical locations in the Czech Republic, capturing diverse terrains and seasonal conditions. The dataset contains 745 images annotated with five distinct classes. The technical implementation utilizes the YOLO11 architecture. Six model iterations were trained and evaluated to optimize the balance between inference speed and accuracy. Model J, based on the YOLO11s variant, was chosen as the optimal solution. The system integrates the BoT-SORT tracking algorithm. This allows the system to maintain object identities across video frames and generate trajectory graphs for path-planning applications. The final results indicate that the proposed pipeline is suitable for real-time deployment in autonomous navigation tasks within natural environments.
