The aim of this thesis is to prepare the construction of a new specialized social services facility in Šamorín with a
capacity of 30 residents, intended for people with neurodegenerative diseases. The thesis focuses on the
organizational and technological preparation of the construction, the design of the construction site and logistical
connections, the continuity of construction activities, and the selection of the main construction machinery and
mechanisms with regard to the course of the shell construction. It includes technological regulations for selected
structures – an extensive green roof and a ventilated facade – including requirements for the quality of
workmanship. The qualitative part is supplemented by a control and testing plan for the implementation of the
green roof. The final part includes a specialized chapter devoted to the possibilities of using IoT in civil engineering
and the design of a concept for the theoretical interconnection of sensor data with BIM to support building
management and sustainability assessment during construction.
