The Herold bakery is designed on a brownfield site in Brno-Cernovice. This project combines functionality and aesthetics in an industrial environment where the goal is not only efficient production but also a pleasant working environment for employees. The location of the building in an industrial zone overlooking a natural area provides optimal conditions for the growth of the company and a positive effect on the psyche of the employees. The material design of the building combines modern design with functionality. The building consists of a combination of two different masses - an office building, a production hall and a set of three silos for flour storage. This dynamic composition creates a visually interesting impression while allowing efficient use of space for industrial production. The longer side of the building is oriented towards the urban greenery, which positively influences the working environment, while the shorter side, with its representative façade, faces the backbone road and creates a visual identity for the company. The façade design of the building emphasizes the difference between the administrative and production parts of the building. The colour and material zoning ensures a clear interface between these functions. Window openings face the urban greenery and natural environment, promoting a pleasant working environment and contact with nature. The layout of the building has been designed with maximum efficiency and food production hygiene standards in mind. The space is divided to separate the administrative and production staff, with visitors entering the building through the vestibule between the administrative area and the changing rooms. The Lshape created allows for a natural division of work flows. The building is thus designed to ensure the efficient movement of materials and finished products, while meeting all the strict standards of food production.

Student úvodem prezentoval svůj projekt Průmyslová pekárna Brno pomocí mediální prezentace. Dále byly přečteny posudky vedoucího a oponenta diplomové práce. Student reagoval na dotazy a připomínky oponenta. Dotazy byly komisí doplněny a zodpovězeny. Následovala odborná rozprava s dotazy komise: Dotaz na provoz na kapacitu zaměstnanců. Dotaz na připravenost na zaměstnance s omezenou schopností pohybu a orientace. Student popsal přístup pro tyto zaměstnance. Dotaz na kořenovou čističku odpadní vody a na přehřívání interiérů výroby. Dotaz na zasklení oken výrobních ploch. Rozprava nad zpracováním modelu detailu. Student s dokonalým přehledem zaujímal odborná stanoviska ke všem připomínkám oponenta a výborně reagoval i na všechny otázky členů komise, které byly k obhajované práci položeny. Student byl komisí navržen Ocenění děkana a cenu 8 z VUT .
