Abstract:

The master’s thesis deals with the fractal analysis of track geometry. The theoretical part is primarily focused on introducing the basics of fractal geometry. There is also concisely described the current methodology for evaluating track geometry. In the practical part is verified the accuracy of the methods for determining the fractal dimension of the curve. For different curves with the same standard deviation is calculated the fractal dimension to demonstrate the possible advantages of using this analysis. Further is researched the use of the fractal dimension for the analysis of track geometry data. All mathematical procedures are done using the MATLAB system.

Študent bol predstavený komisií a poučený o priebehu SZZ. Študentka zoznámila komisiu s cieľami práce a všeobecnými informáciami. Pokračovala vysvetlením odhadu fraktálnych dimenzií. Študentka prezentovala aplikáciu na dáta MVŽSv. Pokračovala analýzov a porovnaním fraktálnej dimenzie a SOD. Na záver zhodnotila výsledky práce. SZZ pokračovala prečítaním posudkov vedúceho a oponenta práce. Otázky oponenta práce: Spracujte číselné porovnanie fraktálnych dimenzií metodami obvodovou a box couting. Študentka odpovedala výborne. Vyplýva z diplomovej práce nejaký praktický vzťah? Študentka odpovedala výborne. Otázky komisie: Lidmila - Má fraktálna dimenzia prínos alebo nie? Študentka odpovedala výborne. Lidmila - Dokáže fraktálna analýza analyzovať aj iné parametre ako SDO? Študentka odpovedala výborne. Horníček - Chcete sa tejto problematike venovať ďalej? Študentka odpovedala výborne.
