Teaching methods depend on the type of course unit as specified in the article 7 of BUT Rules for Studies and Examinations.
Assesment methods and criteria linked to learning outcomes
1. Students have to pass 2 semester tests from the taught topics – winter and summer – max number of points for each test is 40, i.e. 80 for both tests.
2. The exam consists of two parts – a written test, listening . Student may achieve max 10 points for each part. Final assessment reflects also the points achieved in the tests. Maximum number of points is 100.

The main objective of the course is to develop students’ language knowledge and skills necessary for general and specific purposes in the area of business and information technologies.
