Rules for evaluation and completion of the course

Course is evaluated with grade credit.

There are five areas evaluated:
• Business projects – 40% of evaluation (up to 40 points)
• Team company development – 10% of evaluation (up to 10 points)
• Team sessions – 25% of evaluation (up to 25 points)
• Self-learning – 15% of evaluation (up to 15 points)
• ESBD program development – 10% of evaluation (up to 10 points)

Self learning evaluation rules:

Formal requirements – Professional level of writing of – structure, formal requirements work with sources, methodology, problem definition etc.

    • Written outputs – one professional essay and written reports for the other self learning outputs must be evaluated by guide as “passed” otherwise the course cannot be completed. The guide is evaluating mainly the formal requirements described in the appendix – the professional academic writing.

Self-learning is a mandatory part of the course and must be assessed as acceptable. Failure to complete self-learning activities or an unacceptable formal level means that the course has not been completed.

Participation at the team sessions and other activities is compulsory, controlled and it is included in the final evaluation. Students can miss up to five team sessions per semester including exam period, except the final session focused on evaluation. Those five absences can be compensated by extra projects and tasks defined by the guide. This compensation must defined in the credit week. If not compensated, the final score will be reduced for two points per each missed sessions.

ABSENCE EXCEEDING FIVE SESSIONS means that student WILL NOT PASS the course Entrepreneurial Practice.

If student miss more than five sessions because of health reasons (must deliver doctors certificate) or because of serious personal reasons, he/she must ask for an individual study plan. Nevertheless, individual study plan is not guaranteed!

Students are evaluated on the base of active participation – that means preparation of topics, materials, working on cases, discussions etc.

Students with an individual study plan must discuss detail requirements with lecturer and their team before the start of semester.

  • Project Finalization & Assessment: Closing ongoing business projects and evaluating their overall success and KPIs.
  • Tax & Accounting Closing: Managing the financial closure of projects, including tax obligations and final accounting statements.
  • Legal Aspects of Business Exit: Navigating the legal requirements for finalizing business activities or company dissolution.
  • Strategic Business Review: Assessing the entire development of business activities as a basis for the theoretical part of the state exam.
  • Preparation of State Exam Topics: Linking practical experience with the theoretical areas of management, finance, and law (SZZ preparation).
  • Dissolution & Exit Strategy: Planning and implementing the steps for company dissolution or "handover" of the business.
  • Administrative Finalization: Handling the formalities and documentation required for the termination or transition of business activities.
  • Preparation for the final exam

  • The student explains the principles of the overall evaluation of company development and entrepreneurial projects, including economic results and key performance indicators.
  • The student describes the tax, accounting, and legal implications of terminating, transferring, or further continuing entrepreneurial activity.
  • The student characterises the relationship between practical entrepreneurial experience, knowledge transfer, and the functioning of entrepreneurial ecosystems.
