Aims

Professional knowledge
  • The student will gain common knowledge about building envelopes and completion structures, knowledge about the properties of used building materials. He/she has knowledge about the requirements of legal regulations and standards regarding completion structures.
Professional skills
  • After completing the course, the student is able to apply standard procedures for solving details of building envelopes and completion structures, can design commonly used structures and evaluate them in terms of the requirements placed on them from a construction-physical perspective. He/she can make a list of individual elements and their properties as a basis for preparing a construction budget and a basis for high-quality execution of a construction work.
b>Competence
  • In construction practice, the student is capable of independently designing and assessing the basic structures of all building envelopes and completion structures. He/she is prepared to acquire in-depth knowledge in subsequent courses.
