More detailed description and analysis of laboratory tests including their implementation:
- physical-index tests,
- permeability test,
- edometric test,
- test in Barden-Rowe cell,
- triaxial tests (CD, CIUP, general stress paths) - soils,
- triaxial test - rocks,
- direct shear box test,
- ring shear test.

Aims
To acquaint the students with the new methods of interpretation of physical-mechanical properties of soils. To teach the students to check the influence of geotechnical structures into environment.

- 4. Laboratory tests to determine the shear parameters – 1st part (Triaxial test).
- 5. Laboratory tests to determine the shear parameters – 2nd part (Triaxial test - contin.).
- 6. Laboratory tests to determine the shear parameters – 3rd part (shear tests).
- 7. Laboratory testing of rock (Triaxail tests etc.).
- 8. Selected material models versus laboratory tests – 1st part.
- 9. Selected material models versus laboratory tests – 2nd part.
- 10. Non-standard test (dynamic, torsional, testing of unsaturated soil etc.).
