FaVU-1FaAfAcad. year: 2022/2023

Man is a part of nature, he has natural needs to explore his own body, cultural interaction with it, attempts to stand out from the crowd of fellow tribesmen. Clothing, inextricably linked with the human body, has a number of functions, primarily protective. The value of the rest is dynamically changeable depending on fashion trends.

The algorithm is simple – a person, under the influence of evolutionary development, progress, due to events and phenomena, creates a rejection of the outdated, moving towards the new, a certain trend is created, repeated by more and more people, introducing the concepts of fashion.

Craving for beauty is one of the human needs. The creation of beauty in any cultural form occurs at the time of the dominance of certain fashion trends and general views in society. The course is turning attention on tipping points in history of world culture and fashion, the fundamental laws of the cultural and historical development of mankind the inseparable connection of the human body with art and fashion. Study the course will give an opportunity: to get an integral system of knowledge about the world cultural, art and design historical process, periodization, features of origin and formation.

A huge number of phenomena, innovations, inventions in world design deserves our attention and in-depth study.
