Course detail

Satellite Systems

FEKT-MPA-SSVAcad. year: 2023/2024

The course is oriented towards understanding the physical properties of navigation systems. The course will first cover the space segment, the user and control segment, signal structure, satellite and receiver clocks, timing, satellite attitude calculation, transmission, and precision ephemerides. It will also address sources of propagation errors such as atmospheric effects and multipath. The second part of the course deals with autonomous positioning for automotive navigation, aviation, and location-based services. The course also addresses navigation and map production.
