The course is aimed at the preparation of a complete bachelor thesis. Consultations on the thesis and submitted partial outcomes are carried out individually and are realized by the supervisor of the bachelor thesis.

Learning outcomes of the course unit

Based on the theoretical knowledge and skills acquired, students will be able to solve specific practical problems using appropriate methods. Students will also be able to systematically collect and analyse data and information needed to solve problems. On the basis of these analyses, they will be able to design comprehensive solutions applicable in practice.

Prerequisites

Knowledge acquired in the course of university study in the courses within the particular branch , and its application to the solution of the given problems.

Teaching takes place in the form of individual student consultations (tuitions).

Assesment methods and criteria linked to learning outcomes

The course is completed with a credit.

The course is assessed on the basis of the preparation of the bachelor thesis, i.e. meeting the requirements defined by the supervisor, the quality of the argumentation and the proposed solutions included therein.

Course curriculum

The course focuses on the finalisation of the Bachelor's thesis. The content will include:

  • theoretical part containing background, definition of relevant concepts and terms;
  • analytical part;
  • a proposal part with the presentation of possible solutions, their evaluation and the selection of the optimal solution and its evaluation (where possible in terms of the topic and the solution, a discussion of the achieved results will be included).

Aims

The goal of the course is to methodically guide the student in the preparation of the final thesis and furthermore to lead students to apply the knowledge and competences acquired in the course of study as well as the latest theoretical trends in the preparation of the final thesis.

Specification of controlled education, way of implementation and compensation for absences

Control of the partial parts of the bachelor's thesis by the thesis supervisor within the set deadlines.
