Soil and Structure Interaction

Soils like particullar matters. Influence of structure to mechanical behaviour of soils. Effective stress axiom. Short-term and long-term stability. Loading and unloading conditions. Pore pressure, determination. Standard and non-standard triaxial tests. Deformation charakteristics. Material behaviour of cohesive and non-cohesive soils.
Basic rheological relations. Rheological models. Conditions of limit equilibrium in space. Limit state of structures, physical fundamentals of plastic deformation, plasticity conditions, limit state of viscous failure, failure at creep. Finite affinities: isotropic and anisotropic materials. Incremental (plastical) affinities: energetical conception, application of dilatantial behaviour, theory of anisotropic hardening. Original and acquired anisotropy. Non-linear behaviour of non cohesive soils due to Konder, Duncan, Chang. Stabilization factor, dilatancy, contractancy. Stress path. Stress path metod. Metod of adjustment and change of structural character of soils and rocks. Interaction of soils and rocks with structures.
