Current trends in development of metal structures.Rules of structural design of multi-storey buildings. Spatial rigidity, bracing and reinforcing systems. Floor and platform bearing systems. Multi-storey building columns, footing and column anchorage. Large-span roofing. Spatial trusses. Structural design of truss plates and grid systems.Production and assembly of metal structures. Reinforcing, reconstructing and rebuilding problems of steel framed buildings.Design of metal structures based on experimental results. Tests realization and interpretation.Catastrophic events and their reflecting in design concepts of structural systems.
