Student get base of ventilation and air conditioning systems in buildings.

Prerequisites

Fundamental knowledge of building physics and thermal engineering.
Fundamental knowledge of heating systems, especially the thermal calculations.
Fundamental knowledge of the principle of pipeline network design.
Fundamental knowledge of building acoustics.

5. Parts of HVAC systems for air treatment and air transport.
6. HVAC mechanical rooms.
7. Air-based systems in air-conditioning and their design.
8. Water- and refrigeration-based systems in air-conditioning and their design.
9. Cooling in HVAC systems.
10. Heat recovery in HVAC systems.
11. Noise in HVAC systems and its attenuation. Design of damping elements.
12. Regulation of HVAC equipment, applications of HVAC systems in industry.
13. Applications of HVAC systems in residential and public buildings.

Base of ventilation and air conditioning (VAC) in buildings. Creation of indoor climate by VAC systems. Energy, ecology and economy aspects in design of VAC equipment.
