The aim of course is to aid students understand and practice selected parts of Physics I. The course is the suplement to the lecture, tutorials and home work.

Learning outcomes of the course unit

The course develops the knowledge and skills taught in Physics I. Students will learn the definitions of physical quantities, understand and apply physical laws when solving various physical and technical problems.

Prerequisites

Students are expected to have basic knowledge of mathematics: solving of linear and quadratic equations, vector algebra, derivation, integration, ...

Planned learning activities and teaching methods

The course is taught through lectures explaining the basic principles and theory of the discipline.

Assesment methods and criteria linked to learning outcomes

At the end of the course, students with more than 60% attendance at lessons will be awarded course-unit credits.

The aim of the course is to devolep the thoretical knowledge and the ability to applicate the theory to solve simple as well as more complex physical problems.
