Diploma Seminar (V-VST)

In the frame of the diploma thesis seminar students take up with the details their specific theme of graduation theses. They collect input data and materials for their graduation theses that they would not be able to obtain later during short time for development of the theses. Each of the students is led by his supervisor who defines contain and range of the subject.

Learning outcomes of the course unit

The aim of the course is to enable students to preparation and processing documents and data necessary for the preparation of the diploma thesis according to individual specification that is defined by the supervisor.
The outcome of the seminar is a presentation of the thesis process.

Prerequisites

Knowledge in the field of Water Management and Water Structures which include hydraulics, river hydraulice, river training, weirs, dams, hydropower, technical drawing in Autocad system, mathematical modeling of flow in streams

Professional communication with water companies

Teaching methods depend on the type of course unit as specified in the article 7 of BUT Rules for Studies and Examinations.

Mandatory participation in seminars (only allowed two excused absence), delivered continuously work of exercises deadlines
