Planned learning activities and teaching methods

Techning methods include lectures, computer laboratories and practical laboratories. Course is taking advantage of e-learning (Moodle) system. Students have to write a single project/assignment during the course.

Assesment methods and criteria linked to learning outcomes

Student’s appraisal examination: excellent (90-100 points), very good (80-89 points), good (70-79 points), favourable (60-69 points), satisfactory (50-59 points), unsatisfactory (0-49 points). Points allocation according the written notification at the course beginning.

Introduction, overview and analysis of applied computer technology, applied computer technology for creative thinking and problem solving
Computer software, license policy, types of software license, legislative aspects of computer application, authorial law
Application for presentation developing and formation
Graphical editors, graphical standards and computer animation

Information systems, process and data analysis
Applications for data sorting and processing
Applications for quality management operations and production planning
Work with data and databases, data from database publication
Scientifics’ applications, graphical and numerical data analysis

The aim of course is to make students familiar with some IT means application in various activities areas.
