Learning outcomes of the course unit
Partial problems include the questions of structural design of multi-storey buildings, large-span roofing and spatial structural truss systems. Further the problems of design of metal structures based on the examples of the realized experiments will be presented in the frame of the subject teaching. Also the questions of catastrophic events and their reflecting in design concepts of structural systems are included into the subject content.
In general, the subject content will be focused to the questions of reliability and efficiency of the load bearing structures.
