Analog Filter Design
FEKT-BELFAcad. year: 2012/2013
The basic principles of the filters and its division. General theory of the signal filtration, filter parameters and its derivation. Passive RLC filters of the first, second and higher orders, different types and approximations. Computer aided design of the electrical filters, program PSPICE, SNAP, NAF and FILTER SOLUTION. Sensitivity and tolerance analysis of the filters. Frequency and impedance normalization and transformation. Active RC feedback filters with single, two and three operational amplifiers and other functional blocks. The filter with transmission zeroes. The filters with synthetic elements (superinductor, frequency dependent negative resistor). Allpass two-ports, equalizers, signal couplers and splitters. Current-mode filters. The filters with switched capacitors, special program for its design. Electromachanical and piezoelectrical filters. Filters with surface wave. Electronical tunning and control of active filter parameters. Filter optimization based on the different criterions.
