Description in EnglishThe aim of the project is to improve and create physical and mathematical models whose solution will vield new information, in particular about the composition of quenching medium in the high current arc and interaction intervals of the circuit breakingprocesses in HV circuit breakers. In the high current arc interval, when the state of local thermodynamic equilibrium can be expected, the composition and thermodynamic properties will be determined of the heterogeneous products of the reaction of SF6 with the material of the circuit breaker quenching chamber (C, Teflon, CaF2, Cu, W) and with moisture (H20).In the interaction interval a model will be proposed and solved of the kinetics of chemical reactions, and in the stabilized arc a model of the kinetics of chemical reactions with diffusion in the gaseous system of the products of SF6 dissociation and ionization at a given temperature drop from 12 000 K to ambient temperature.
