On the project

The subproject amends the already approved SP #3 FACME, accepted in the framework of National Renewal Program and focused on almost immediately applicable results, by more strategic activities. The current project is focused on yet unaddressed domains of the BOVENAC project (Annex5), by adding the following activities into originally planned objectives as domains D#: • Integration of vehicles into mobility systems including active safety and LCA as D01 Tools for Integration of Vehicles into Multimodal Systems with Increased Safety and Subjected to LCA, • Integration of parametric CAD and multi-physics simulation tools for digital twins including condition monitoring in operation as D02 Integration of Multiphysics Simulations and Digital Twins Technologies into Design Assistance System and Operation Reliability, • Railway and tram wheels, bogies and brakes as D03 Tools of Design and Components for Advanced Rail Vehicles, • Powertrains and components in fuel cell design and implementation in vehicles together with ICE for renewable fuels, hybrid drives and emerging markets and moreover Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning systems as D04 Alternative Fueled Powertrains and Energy Consuming Auxiliaries for Future Vehicles, • Electric Motors, frequency converters and motor control as D05 Electrified Vehicle Powertrain Components • Testing of cyber systems as D06 Tools for Vehicle Microelectronic Device Design, • Vehicle body and chassis structure, passive safety and durability as D07 Vehicle Frame and Body Structures for Future Vehicles and together with aggregate NVH and Suspension and dampers as D07 Vehicle body and chassis structures for Future vehicles and D08 NVH and Vibration Damping Devices for Future Vehicles.
