On the project
Podstatou navrhovaného projektu je výzkumná činnost ve třech hlavních oblastech: zdroje elektrické energie, izolační materiály a podpůrný výzkum. U zdrojů el. energie je výzkum zaměřen na elektrochemické zdroje el. energie "klasické" (Pb, NiCd, Ni-Zn akumulátory), "novodobé" (palivové články, Li-Ion akumulátory, superkondenzátory) a fotovoltaiku. V oblasti izolačních materiálů je výzkum zaměřen na problematiku alternativních kapalných materiálů. Podpůrný výzkum je zaměřen do oblastí sledování struktur hmot, povrchových úprav a počítačových simulací.
