Original Abstract

Computer simulation is very popular method for investigating and describing phenomenons which are described by complex mathematical equations, especially differential equations which are difficult to solve. Computer simulation is used also in electrochemistry where the phenomenon and reactions in batteries and accumulators can be investigated. This method is usually demanding in the sense of computational performance but some tasks only seem to be complicated but there is a possibility how to simplify their mathematical interpretation. This article deals with application of the finite element method for investigating the processes in lead-acid accumulator.
