Competence

The Department ensures in particular:

• the provision of legal consultations and advice,
• the drawing up of legal documentation,
• the representation of BUT in court disputes and in proceedings under the Code of Administrative Justice,
• the management, drafting, interpretation and administration of the internal legislation of BUT,
• the elaboration and interpretation of external legislation in the internal regulations of BUT and the internal ordinances of BUT,
• the recovery of receivables, insolvency proceedings,
• legal audit,
• the coordination of the preparation, drafting and review of the legal arrangements of contracts,
• the administration of the contracts of the Rector's Office,
• methodological support for the registration and publication of contracts,
• the administration of trade licences,
• the agenda of the Refund Committee,
• the agenda of ensuring free access to information,
• the representation of BUT in criminal proceedings, the filing of criminal complaints and of remedies,
• the management of strategic partnerships and of the participations of BUT in other legal entities.
