Department of Marketing


Department of Marketing ensures in particular:

  • formulation of the BUT marketing strategy, management and provision of education marketing, research marketing and institutional marketing, marketing of the social (third) role of the BUT and foreign marketing,
  • managing the corporate identity of the BUT and coordinating the promotion of the BUT brand,
  • planning, preparing and ensuring the implementation of marketing events, including the participation of the BUT in domestic and foreign trade fairs in cooperation with the Department of Internationalisation, the Department of Student Affairs and the Department of Research and Development,
  • preparing, organising and arranging academic, protocol, ceremonial, institutional, social and public ceremonies, festivities and events, except those within the competence of the Rector's Office, while supporting those events which are within the competence of the Rector's Office,
  • internal marketing,
  • the preparation, implementation and application of promotional printed materials, presentations and promotional items of the BUT,
  • sponsorship and fundraising, including the partnership programme,
  • Alumni relations,
  • management of advertising and public relations, including related contractual relations and their management,
  • evaluation of marketing effectiveness and marketing efficiency.
