The Bursar manages the financial affairs and internal administration of BUT and represents the University to the extent determined by the Rector. In the area of financial management, the Bursar prepares the rules for the preparation of the BUT budget and the subsequent University budget.

Within internal administration, the Bursar ensures the proper management of the University’s property and manages assigned administrative activities in the areas of finance, investments, human resources, legal affairs, public procurement and University operations.
