Bursar's office

Competence

  • administrative support for the performance of the function of the Bursar,
  • conditions for the activities of the Bursar and, if necessary, for the activities of other BUT bodies,
  • the activities of the Bursar's advisory boards and working groups of the Bursar according to the BUT Statute.

The Chief Economist's Department ensures in particular:
  • the grants and contributions agenda (including programme funding) and its management
  • preparation of the BUT budget, including analytical support
  • settlement of contributions and subsidies with the state budget of the Czech Republic
  • methodology of project financing and economics in cooperation with the departments providing project support,
  • pricing methodology,
  • analyses of the management of the BUT and the Rector's Office,
  • economic analytics
  • financial control methodology,
  • preparation of the annual report on the BUT management
  • methodological support in the area of monitoring and recording of common operating costs,
  • Methodology of separate tracking of economic and non-economic activities in the accounting records,
  • management of the order book.

The Chief HR Officer sets the methodology and coordinates:
  • the University's personnel policy,
  • quality assurance in the area of personnel management, including relevant analytics,
  • internal training and staff development system,
  • career development (growth) system,
  • a reward and remuneration system,
  • a performance and quality assessment system,
  • systemic settings for equal opportunities and ethics,
  • the system of labour relations and the setting up of related administrative support,
  • a search and recruitment system,
  • a system for managing employee care,
  • personnel agenda in projects.
