The BUT Ball was the largest in the Czech Republic. Over 4,200 guests arrived this year

This year's celebration of the 120th anniversary of Brno University of Technology was symbolically concluded by the BUT Ball, which took place at the Brno Exhibition Centre on Friday, December 6, 2019 in Hall P. Already last year, when over 3,600 guests arrived, it was the largest ball in the Czech Republic. This year, however, on the occasion of the celebrations, the main organizers among students decided to increase the capacity again in this largest exhibition hall in the Central Europe. “This year there was an enormous interest in tickets, we sold more than two thousand tickets in the first ten minutes. In one day we achieved last year's attendance”, the main organizer Anna Kruljacova said. The event for 4,200 guests was again organized by students and student associations across the Brno University of Technology. This year the BUT Ball won the 3rd place in the Annual Awards of the Czech Event Association, the Brno University of Technology was the only representative from the public sphere in this category of events.
