At the beginning of the academic year 2016/2017 the first issue of english yearbook News at BUT was published. This new magazine summarizes the most important events that occured at BUT in the last academic year. It is designed for foreign students and foreign employees of the university.
In past 20 years, Czech version of magazine Events at BUT (Události na VUT) could offer for foreign readers only a short summary at the end of each article, while the new yearbook provides comprehensive information of the projects and activities which our students and scientists are working on.
In the first edition of the magazine you can read about the most important events such as the solar eclipse expedition to Indonesia, student achievements in the Brno Ph.D. Talent competition, a new model of the Dragon 6 student formula and information about the Red Dot Design Award for a BUT student.
