The opportunity to stand out on the screen of Czech Television was given to two graduates of the Faculty of Fine Arts at BUT - Dominika Dobiášová and Marie Zandálková, who continues to be active at the faculty in the Post-mag program. The artists succeeded in the Artelier competition, announced by Czech Television last autumn, and together with other winners, they will shape the visual identity of the ČT art channel.Artelier art competition. | Author: ČTThe artistic works of these artists from Brno University of Technology will be featured on television starting this September, specifically in the transitions between individual programs, known as jingles. The goal of this collaboration is to connect television broadcasting with the younger generation of creators who are not afraid to be original and explore new artistic directions.A total of 450 artists applied for the Artelier competition, which was intended for young artists under 33 years old. From these applicants, a professional jury selected twenty winners whose works will enhance the visual identity of Czech Television's artistic channel. Additionally, the artists involved in the project will be presented on the cultural website www.ctart.cz.“It is not common for members of the public to contribute to the visual identity of any television program, but this is exactly what we aimed to change with the Artelier project. We offered young artists space in the broadcast, and the response was incredibly positive.
