Key learning outcomes
Students acquire the necessary knowledge of mathematics, physics, electrical engineering, acoustics, music theory, orchestration, studio equipment and studio practice as well as the basic language skills. As BSc graduates they can work as professionals in broadcasting, post-production and recording studios, theatres, in the staging musical performances, multimedia production, in companies engaged in the production, sale and service of audio and music electronics, in companies engaged in the design of studios and space for audio production, with complex installation and technology, etc.
Occupational profiles of graduates with examples
Graduates in Audio engineering are practically oriented, with technical and artistic grasp of audio equipment, audio signal processing, music direction and studio practice. They have the ability to work in a team, have good language skills in both general and professional areas, and have the potential to learn and evolve in step with the development of the knowledge in the field of multimedia technology and audiovisual production. Graduates find employment as sound designers, sound engineers, designers of AV equipment, sound electronics technicians, acoustics engineers, etc.
Access to further studies
Graduates can continue their studies in the technically oriented MSc study programme focused on audio and multimedia in all universities in artistically oriented fields such as audio production, music direction and audiovisual production.
