Study program graduates are engineers with comprehensive technical and biomedical knowledge of biomedical technology, health computer science and bioinformatic solutions and technologies. He is capable of working in a professional team, is well equipped as for knowledge of foreign languages as well as in the fields of biomedical equippment, solutions and technologies. He is capable of further self-education or education on PhD level, he is also ready for employment in relevant professional jobs.

Graduates of the study program Biomedical Engineering and Bioinformatics are biomedical engineers with technical and natural sciences overview of the field of biomedical engineering, medical informatics and bioinformatics technology. They have the ability to work in a team is very well prepared to language in general and professional, and have potential to learn and develop in line with the development of knowledge in the field of biomedical engineering and bioinformatics. Graduates will be able to work with medical instrumentation, assist in the diagnosis and therapy with special clinical techniques, control instrumentation, detailed analysis of bioinformatic data including genetic, perform statistical analysis of medical data, design, implement and use software to support diagnostics. Graduates will be able to work in a team of experimental research and development. The application is also available in the development teams of researchers and educational institutions in the development and manufacturing companies in the field of medical technology and information technology, companies engaged in the sale and service of medical equipment or software creation, biological and genetic laboratories. Graduates will have a good knowledge of mathematics, molecular biology, biostatistics and medical ethics. Be familiar with current trends in health technology and informatics. Will be able to apply national and international norms and standards in the field of medical technology. The general basis of study enables further PhD studies at the University or at another university.
