Optical methods belong among modern methods of surface topography study. These methods give an areal distribution of light intensity as an output. This distribution provides information on the topography of surfaces. An acquisition of the information by means of modern methods and algorithms of image processing is a significant task in the surface topography characterization. Approaches used by a graduant solving the aforementioned task are as follows: Analysis methods of image preprocessing, analysis methods and algorithms for image recognition.
Supervisor: Šťastný Jiří, prof. RNDr. Ing., CSc.
Evolutionary methods belong among modern methods for process optimization. Using theese methods is especially suitable for problems which are very difficult to solve using classical mathematical methods or where using deterministic computation methods would require unacceptable simplification of the problem. An acquisition of the optimization data by means of modern methods and algorithms of artificial intelligence is a significant task in object recognition in real time. Approaches used by a graduant solving the aforementioned task are as follows: Analysis evolutionary methods, analysis algorithms for objects recognition.
