Doctoral education provides to the graduates with Master's degree in the field of company management and economics higher level of education deepening theoretical knowledge.
The aim of doctoral study branch is to teach methods of scientific work.

A graduate of doctoral study is capable of independent scientific, research and directive work.
He is ready to tackle challenging conceptual, research and development problems in management and economics. He is able to carry out research, development and production independently in practice.
Graduate can find fulfilment as a creative worker at leading research centers, as a leader of research and development teams, as a research worker and teacher at universities. Graduates of this program may also occupy high positions in some of the larger institutions and companies that require the ability to work creatively and independently, to analyze complex problems and propose a new and original solutions.

  1. Application of Flexible Working Conditions in HR Management

    The topic is focused on analysis of flexible working conditions. The outcome of the thesis should be the proposal of a new method of application of effective working conditions which would accept work-life balance in selected companies on the Czech market. The conception of flexible working conditions should serve as a productive tool of HR management considering also talent management.

  2. Balanced Scorecard, its theoretical concepts and practical applications in personal information systems

    The topic is focused on the definition of the Balancd Scorecard conception for performance measurement in human resource management and its practical application as a standartized process solutions in human resources information system.

  3. Contribution of logistics as a service in a global value chain

    Logistics is to be understood as a necessary part of the final product. Increasing share of logistics necessitates to measure it comprehensively and to set the position of logistics as a service in the field of territorial and global trade in the value chain. The prerequisite is to explore a new approach and a new look at the global trade.

    Customer experience (CX) management i sone of key topic of a great importace for companies, especially in service sector. The topic is aimed at ciritical analysis of current approaches towards CX management and at exploring potential ways of its improvement.

    Management systems, and communication between systems will be based on a validated modeling methods to be used particularly in cyberspace digital economy.     The trend worldwide is projected by models of e-business modeling to ICT using advanced methods of artificial intelligence. Contribution will work in applications of artificial intelligence in the design of integrable systems and intelligent e-business.

  8. Development of Small and Medium-sized Family Owned Entreprises.

    Disertation thesis will present research of key development factors of small and medium-sized family owned businesses in the areas of management, financing and succession. Winesector will be selected for the research.

    The supposed target of doctoral thesis in the field of project management is a proposal of correct solution of the information system’s influence on changes of strategic targets and organization structure.   10. Effects of physical fitness on the performance of managers

    Relations between the increasing importance of physical fitness and the individual performance of managers have been investigated in many international studies. In the majority, these studies indicate timeliness of any research between supporting fitness activities and individual performance of managers or managerial teams. For purpose of the dissertation both the primary and secondary data will be used.

  13. Hazard analysis and critical factors related to the processing of electronic documents and design methodology for the creation of long-term storage

    With the growing increase in the number of electronic documents are increasing demands on their longterm storage. The key issue is to ensure authenticity of origin, integrity of content and readability of documents. The problem is mainly limited validity certificate for electronic signature, sign and timestamp. Work should propose appropriate methods for ensuring these requirements for medium-and long-term storage in general practice.

    "The benefits of synchronized materials flow. Lean synchronization and capacity utilization. The comparison of lean synchronization and just-in-time method. Eliminating waste in a production process and in the supply network with respect to time, quantity and quality of products and services. Based on the above ideas, a draft model shall be created for the operational management of production processes. "

  17. Minimisation of tax liability by using the Base Erosion and Profit Shifting (BEPS) strategy

    The aim of this Dissertation is to perform, in cooperation with representatives of the OECD and the Confédération Fiscale Européenne organisations, research work and comprehensive analyses in the field of minimisation of tax liability by using the Base Erosion and Profit Shifting (BEPS) strategy, and then to publish achieved results in a suitable way. The proposals suggested by the Dissertation will be focused not only on the entrepreneurial sphere but also on the state administration of the Czech Republic.

  18. Monetary Policy and its Influence on the Corporate Governance

    The topic of the thesis is focused on monetary policy and mapping the impact of monetary interventions and changes in the money market on companies’ economic situation and their behavior, in selected countries of Central and Eastern Europe. The solution offers a wide range of possible approaches. The analysis which are essential part of the solution, assumes the processing of publicly available secondary data and also primary data obtained in the survey in enterprises. An important part of the thesis is modeling of the impacts of changes in money supply, currently associated with quantitative easing, on company economic management.

    Advanced authentication methods contribute to increase security in enterprise information systems.     Research, development and application of methods for biometric identification and authentication is increasingly of interest in the field of IT and in criminology. The dynamic biometric signature is relatively new, not yet very researched tool for signing the legal and operational procedures, but also the identification of persons. Work should address verification and testing tools for biometric signature and design a safe way to store specimen signatures.

    With massive investment to R&D we are facing the question what are appropriate tools and methods for pricing R&D outputs. The main aim of this work is to identify and create an appropriate tools and methods to capitalize R&D outputs. The work will focus on addressing the issue in the environment of Czech Republic. The work will also include the identification of the impact of funding R&D from public sources.
