Issued topics of Doctoral Study Program

2. round (applications submitted from 11.11.2013 to 13.12.2013)

  1. Physical properties of hydrated cement paste

The research will concern physical properties of hydrated cement paste, especially mechanical properties which influence strength of concrete composites.

Supervisor: Ficker Tomáš, prof. RNDr., DrSc.

1. round (applications submitted from 03.05.2013 to 31.07.2013)

  1. Morphology of fracture surfaces of cement-based materials

The goal of the proposed research is to study experimental correlations between morphological irregularities of fracture surfaces and compressive strength of the cement-based materials. Microscopic technique along with 3D software projection will be used in combination with the mechanical assessment of compressive strength.

Supervisor: Ficker Tomáš, prof. RNDr., DrSc.
