Issued topics of Doctoral Study Program

  1. Research of Progressive Methods for a Harmful Emission Decrease in Exhaust Gasses

The aim of the dissertation is research and development of progressive methods for a harmful emission decrease in exhaust gasses. Diesel internal combustion engines of heavy duty vehicles and tractors are the target of the research. Research works will cover a design and a realisation of innovative technical experiments on an engine prototype. Based on the experimental results the conceptual and design changes will be proposed. Experimental approaches will be supported by suitable computational simulations. The solution will be coordinated with a close cooperation of the final truck and tractor manufacturers. Results verification of the calculation models will be carried out at the industry partner laboratories and in the laboratories of the Institute of Automotive Engineering.
